Emilia grew up in the PNW and has been creating for the past ten years. As a self-taught artist, they have explored many mediums and feel most at home when they are playing with mixed media, specifically charcoal, oil pastels, thread & sharpie.

They create and have created for many reasons: as a form of self-preservation, as a mode of healing, to be playful, to connect to a spiritual being and ultimately, to find ways to connect with others and create community with art at its core. Emilia often creates with a focus around their experience as a queer person.
